About Us - Company History

Prior to founding ThesIS, we worked together for a number of years as the core coding group for a large, multinational pharmaceutical company. In this capacity, our team was responsible for coding Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials as well as for drug safety.

We gained an immense amount of experience coding across a wide range of therapeutic areas for studies large and small, often running in multiple countries. Along the way, we developed a powerful thesaurus software system that could efficiently and effectively meet the high volume and stringent demands of such a diverse and challenging environment.

In 2001, that large pharma company closed its entire drug development operations at the site where our team was located. Rather than going our separate ways, we decided to keep this exceptional team intact. We negotiated the rights to use and further enhance the innovative thesaurus software that we had developed. From this solid foundation built from years of experience, ThesIS was formed.

Although our corporate entity was created in 2001, we bring to you more than 19 years of experience as an established team of thesaurus professionals.
